Complaint Review: BodyFitPro

One week after I received the sample bottle of Green Tea from BodyFitPro, I cancelled the future order over the phone. (I am taking meds and didn't want to risk interactions. ) I kept the sample bottle for possible future use.

On July 13, I noticed a charge of $99.61 on my credit card. The next day I rec'd another bottle (30 day supply). I called them again, couldn't get through ( automated hold). On August 1, I went to the post office and returned the bottle.

On August 14th, I started calling the company, asking why my account wasn't credited. It took many calls to get through. The first person (a man), claimed they never received it. He asked me to prove I mailed it, claimed my tracking number on the shipping invoice was invalid, and told me to get documentation from the post office proving it was mailed.

When I called the post office, the postal service worker said he couldn't believe the company wouldn't accept the legal tracking number from my postal receipt. He also went on to tell me the tea was delivered to BodyFitPro at 10:54 AM August 9th.

I began once again, my long term calling of this company. When I finally got through again, a woman answered. I explained everything, she said they did receive it, and that a credit was being processed. However, I never did get my credit of $99.61.

During the week of August 20th, I made many more calls, only to discover no one ever got on the phone. Upon calling 800 927 2029, this is the auomated message: "Thank you for calling customer service. We will be with you shortly." It is Friday, August 24, and I am still on hold. I have informed the credit card company about this and I will fill out a complaint form when they send it to me.
