I ordered two pairs of ear jewellery from this website. I placed my order on August 23rd, 2004 and paid $9.96 US for "regular shipping" which is supposed to be up to two weeks. By the third week of September, I had still not received my item. I checked up on it on their site and saw in the "status" section that they were out of one of the items - but did not bother to contact me! I phoned, they asked what I wanted to substitute, and said they'd send it right away.

Three weeks later, I hadn't received it again. I phoned again and went through the EXACT SAME PROCESS - no apologies. I said, "This is too much. Unless you can give me expedited shipping free of charge, I would like to cancel my order." They said that they would not do this but they would send me some free jewellery.

Finally in mid-October, I received my order. There was no free jewellery. There was nothing. To add insult to injury, I saw that the actual shipping cost was 85 cents, meaning that I paid an extra $9.11 over and above the cost. It was shipped in a crappy envelope, so there's no way it even cost more than a buck for it.

I would have cancelled my order, but they made me a promise of a free gift - which they did not fulfil. I wrote to their customer care department, and was ignored. After two entire months of waiting! Don't ever deal with this company if you want fair prices, attentive service (or heck, any service at all!) or decent business practices!!!

A different representative from the company has now contacted me and is willing to resolve this situation by giving me store credit. They have now listened and responded to the problem in a positive and timely manner. I would do business with them again.

In the status online, there was no record of it being sent until a few days before I got it. It was NOT sent twice. And a $9 US handling charge is ridiculous.

I was promised the free jewellery due to the fact that THEY HAD NOT SENT IT YET.

The reason we charge 9.95 for shipping to Canada is because majority of the packages we send to Canada get lost. This way if we have to; we can resend the package back to the customer, which is what we did in this case. Also there is an Handleing charge in this.

Why would be send FREE jewelry, i do not understand this person.
