I have a story identical to several complaints against Boehm-Ritter that I saw filed on this website.I was recently on the internet and saw an ad advertising a free $250 Gap gift card for choosing 3 free trial offers from a huge list. One of them was a free trial offer for this anti wrinle cream from Boehm-Ritter but you had to make a purchase of $9.95. So, I stupidly entered all my banking info w/ my debit card number to make the small purchase. I got my sample in the mail shortly after w/ a note saying that my next shipment would arrive w/in two weeks and that I was able to cancel my order w/in the two week free trial period. I tried for several days to get in on the phone lines for as long as 2 hours at the most. Each time, there was a message after this extremely long wait saying to call back another time and that there were no representatives at that time or that the phone lines were full and to call back at another time. I made several e-mails w/ no response. I even left messages on their answering service w/ no return call. Finally, after my two week trial period, a representative called me back. I asked her how I would go about getting a refund but was told there were no refunds after the two week free trial period. $89.95 was debited from my account and I was signed up for a special membership, unbeknownst to me, to receive regular shipments of this product every month and automatically have funds w/drawn from my account. It's a good thing that I was able to talk to someone since I had no idea that these little packages were to arrive monthly. I feel very frustrated,manipulated and cheated. I will seek every avenue to find restitution in this matter. I have sent the company a few e-mails telling them how unhappy that I was w/ this scam and that I would be seeking legal action against them w/ no response.
