Bohren Logistics (Dave Bohren) Well I am here to say don't goto this company unless u want to go backwards. This company nickles and dimes u for everything. There are good companies still out there but Bohren Logistics is not one of them. They say u get 75% of there freight and 85% of the brokered freight but they claim some of there brokered freight is their's to scam u out of an extra 10%. Garrett Indiana
There are good companies out there but Bohren Logistics is not one of them. They nickle and dime there company drivers for everything. If u damage the body on one of there trucks he will charge u to fix it. In one instance a driver pulled the fairing apart and was charged 800.00 $ for them to put two or three bolts in it and called it good. Bohren Logistics has insurance on these trucks and instead of using it, he wants to charge drivers ridiculous charges instead of having the insurance company fix it right. He throws the cash that he gets from the drives for the damages in his pocket. This is a shady company for owner ops and company drivers. I was a owner op for this company and was charged 197.00 for a oil change and one filter. I could of got a pm at speedway for 169.00 and included upto 3 filter. I did tell them this and they corrected it but they wanted to see if they could get away with it.They also changed a rear tail light that just pushed into the rubber seal and plugged it in and charged me 37$ and some change. The light was $ 5.25 and the rest was labor for a 2 minute job. If I would of know this I would of bought the tail light from them but put it in my self. I mean I was a owner op for theses guys seems like I would get a good discount or some kinda break. The biggest thing with Bohren is u are suppost to get 75% of there freight and 85% of the broker freight revenue but he claims some of the broker freight is his and steals an extra 10 % from u. You get no fuel surcharge on the brokered freight. U have to wait till they get paid for detention upto 90 days before they pay u. This company sucks and is the worst I have ever worked for. They have lots of tricks drivers so be careful. I believe I will end up having to hire a lawyer to get all my escrow money back. I can see their anticks coming. Going to charge me some ridiculous price to take their qualcom out of my truck. could be wrong on this but that is the direction this thing is going I believe.
