In early 2017, I was looking at a way to generate online leads. I bumped into BoldLeads. I signed on with them after the sales person told me I would convert 1 listing sale for every 20 leads they sent me. This didn’t happen.

First, “leads” is very deceptive with this company. They are not leads. The company just runs Facebook ads offering a free valuation of their home. They aren’t interested in selling, they aren’t interested in talking with a Realtor —- they were enticed by a Free and Quick valuation of their home.

About three months into the program, I contacted BoldLeads and told them their program was not providing any “leads” and that the salespersons representation of 1 listing for every 20 “leads” was not even close to materializing. I asked to terminate the contract….several times. It took two months and they finally sent me an email saying they were cancelling. But they didn’t. They just kept on charging my credit card.

When I called them on this, I was told they don’t stand behind their salesperson’s representations (we, in the Real Estate business would lose our licenses for this kind of Blue Sky conduct…apparently at BoldLeads there is no problem saying what is needed to get the sale) and that they decided not to cancel my service (they never notified me of this or communicated to me….they just went on stealthily charging my card). BoldLeads has scammed me out of over $2,000 with these business practices.

Some may have some better experiences with this company. Mine, however, was one of deception and failure to deliver what their salesperson promised - and then continuing to bill even after notified of cancellation and receiving their acknowledgement. You can easily learn to run your own “Free Valuation” advertisements on Facebook and save yourself a lot of money rather than using this scam service.
