Complaint Review: Bonnie Davis

 I got a call from a lady by the name of Bonnie Davis phone number 973-679-6942 x 3204. Stating that my husband owes money for a loan taken out on under a certain email in 2009 and under a new jersey address. My husband had told me he got a call about this and tried to explain to them that he was in the military and he did not live in NJ since 2006. I was already aware, I explained to the lady that we have not lived in NJ since 2006. She asked who lived at the address in NJ, I told her I did not know it was an apartment and we moved in 2006. We relocated two times before. In 2009 we were living in Fort hood, TX. She started threatening and saying that he was breaking the law and that my husband was going to get a chapter 15. I told her that we have military orders of when he came back in the service. She said she was going to contact his superior and garnish his wages because he has two cases pending against him. She asked me two verify two of his relatives like you can't get that information online. Which the cops who I work with said and even showed me that you can. I asked to speak to someone higher than her, she transferred me to who seemed like a call center representative. That representative said he was a supervisor did not provide his name. The number that called me was not the number she gave me. The number was 585-591-6093. I explained everything to him that I told her. He said he was going to tell me all the information on this supposedly case. After I told him I was going to run this through the military legal system. Because they are available to military members and their family, he said well we don't deal with them. We deal with the civilian branch. Then I told him, well then I still need information, because I want my father's opinion on this matter. He got angry and said this is why we do not like dealing with rude people. He said he gave me the Company name and date the loan was taken out. No one was being rude to him, I explained that I needed to speak to someone because something does not add up. I told him this sounds like a scam. He did not give me the Company name or the date, that he gave me the year. And then he hung up. They did the same thing to my husband. Hung up when he asked for more information. I looked these people online and all you see is about scams, telling people the same thing they told me. Threatening one's family. I spoke to my husband's superior and they are aware of the situation. They have heard of the scams too.
