Book A ROOM.com Claimed cheap rates did not show all fees until no cancellation without fee possible said that cancellation would follow hotel policy not true followed their policy TX
Found site claimed lowest rates, called to check said cancellation policy followed Hotel ploicy. Made reservation turned out that stated cost was escalated by $70 per night due to fees, did not find out about fees until cancellation not possible without fee ($190).
Turns out booking directly with Hotel room cost was $97 per night. When I tried to cancell 3 weeks before stay I was charged $190 claim Hotel policy. Real rip off, stay away from this site.

After posting my review I was contacted by Customer Care and Escalations at Book a Room . com.
Unlike the call in Customer Care, they listened to my case and proposed a solution which meet my concers.
I am happy with the results and would change my review of their performance to meeting my needs.

There is NEVER any reason to use them or any other similar operation...EVER! They can't do anything that you can't do for yourself and for free. Their aim is to convince the inexperienced traveler they can do them so, so much when they can't!
I've travelled extensively and never once used these types of places. They are ALL a waste of time and money!
