Complaint Review: Book My Vacay

The bookmyvacay business is a horrible front for a bunch of lying theives. They'll quote you a price, say everything is included and wait until you've planned your trip, made arrangments for local transportation and bought airfare before telling you there is a 12-13% tax and $250 cleaning fee that will need to be submitted seperately before your arrival. Not only do they take the photos of their properties with a very high end camera that does the actual properties zero to no justice but they then try and cover up the wall discoloation, scuff marks, old floors and other numerous faults with their properties by staging them before taking the photos. If you were to lease a home from this place, you'll notice when you show up almost none of the furniture in the listing photos is still within the residence. The kitchens are missing nearly all cooking utensils and have no staples as we had to make a stop at a nearby frys for everything. I would steer clear of this group, they advertise to be the owners of the homes they rent and after a quick search of different property addresses I can see they're not the owners just muir property management. Do not be fooled, they will try to reel you in quickly but after any correspondence one can see they are a bad group of people to deal with and will make every attempt at ruining your vacation when they are able to.
