WHERE DOES ONE BEGIN. WAS IT THE MANAGER WHO TOLD US THERE WAS NO SURCHARGE FOR CALLING A CAB. THEN WE GET CHARGED. LETS LEAVE THAT OUT FOR NOW. WE SPENT THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS WITH BOOKING.COM

THEY CLAIM THEY GURANTEE THEIR PRICING ONLY 24 HOURS BEFORE. EXCUSE US WE WERE 14 HOURS LATE. SO MUCH FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. WE WERE EGREGIOUSLY CHARGED 150+ MORE TO CHECK INTO THE SAME HOTEL SAME LOCATION SAME NIGHTS FOR ALMOST 1/3 THE COST!?

WE WOULD UNDERSTAND IF IT WAS CHRISTMAS AND WE KNOW ITS THE BLOSSOM FESTIVAL AS WE WERE TOLD THIS IS HIGH SEASON BY THE MANAGER HERE OF MYSTAYS HOTEL. WE LOVED THE PLASTIC FURNTIUTE COVERED CHAIRS THAT WERE RIPPED IN THE LOBBY GUESS THEY NEED MORE $250 A NIGHT CUSTOMERS LIKE US TO HELP OUT.

SO JUST BY FLUKE WE CHECKED TRIVAGO.COM NOT EXPETING TO SEE MUCH DIFFERENCE HAD IT BEEN 3--5-60 MORE..NO BIG DEAL  THE TAG LINE BOOK NOW...$73 TURNED OUT TO BE $95 ALL TAXES IN COMPARED TO MORE THAN DOUBLE IF NOT TRIPLE WITH BOOKING.COM  AFTER CALLING IN AND LISTENING TO THE ON HOLD ONE OF OUR EXECUTIVE WILL ANWER YOUR CALL SHORTLY ARE PRESENT HOLD TIME IS 5 MINTUES. 21 MINUTES LATER OUR CALL WAS ANSWERED AS WE EXPLAINED OUR EXPERIENCE. THE CALLTAKER WAS POLITE BUT WE SOMEHOW NEW IT WAS ABOUT TO BE NOTING MORE THAN LIP SERVICE.

WE CLEARLY SAID WE DO NOT WANT ANY COUPONS VOUCHERS WE SIMPLE WANT TO BE REIMBURSED PARTIALLY FOR OUR STAY AS WE COULD OF CHECKED OUT REBOOKED AND CHECKED BACK IN FOR 3 NIGHTS ON TRIVAGO IN THE SAME HOTEL WITH EVER A BETTER ROOM THEY CALLED SUPERIOR!??! WITH BOOKING.COM YOU GET LOW RATES ON SMOKE FILLED ROOMS...IN OTHER WORDS SMOKERS ROOMS. WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND IN THIS DAY AND AGE WANTS TO BOOK A SMOKERS ROOM??? SMOKERS ARE A DYING BREED. WE VOICED THAT TO BOOK.COM THE RESPONSE? "THIS IS WHAT THE HOTEL GIVES US" I GUESS TRIVAGO MUST BE ON FIRE WITH EVERY SMOKER IN THE AREA COMPLAINING AS THEIR ROOM WAS THE SAME HOTEL NO SMOKING AND LARGER ROOM AS THEY QUOTED SUPERIOR.

WE EVEN SENT SCREEN SHOTS AND ACCORDING TO THE LOGIC OR THE ROBOT HOTEL MANAGER AT MSTAYS BEING THEIR HIGH TIME WHY WOULD THE ROOM BE 1/3 THE COST IF ANYTHING IT SHOULD BE 1/3 MORE THAN WE PAID. IT WAS LIKE A TALKING TO YOUR CELL PHONE ON A VOICE SEARCH WHERE YOU KEEP REPEATING YOURSELF SLOWLY AND IT DOES NOT RECOGNISE WHAT YOUR SAYING.

WE SENT AN EMAIL INTO BOOKING.COM THEY CAME BACK WITH THIS BROKEN MATH THAT WAS ALL WRONG WITH FONT SO SMALL ONE WOULD NEED A MICROSCOPE TO READ IT. THEY OFFERD US A WHOPPING $30 CREDIT!! WHOOO! SO GENEROUS.

NEEDLESS TO SAY THIS IS ONE OF 400 POSTS AS WE WILL USE A BOT SO THAT WORD GETS OUT. DO NOT TRUST BOOKING.COM AFTER SPENDING 10K WE CAN CLEARLY SAY WE SHOULD HAVE CHECKED CLOSER WITH TRIVAGO...THAT IRRITATING COMMERCIAL IS LESS IRRITATING THAN BEING RIPPED OFF BY BOOKING.COM AND MYSTAYS HOTEL WE WERE IN WAS NOT EVEN IN A DESIREABLE AREA AS WE WERE MISLEAD AS TO HOW IT WAS PRESENTED. WE THOUGHT WE WERE STAYING IN THEIR TRAIN STAION LOCATION AND WE HAD TO GO FROM THAT LOCATION TO OUR LOCATION BY CAB. NO ONE WANTS TO POST REVIEWS LIKE THIS. HAD THE SIMPLE OFFERED US SOME FAIR AND REASONABLE COMPENSATION WE WOULD HAVE BEEN ON OUR WAY AND NOT HAVE OUR VACAY SOURED BY SUCH DASTARDLY SERVICE. STAY CLEAR OF MYSTAYS HOTEL STAY WITH A HOTEL THAT CARES AND UNDERSTANDS REALITY. WE ALSO HAD TO EMAIL THE HOTEL 4 TIMES TO ASK FOR A NON SMOKING ROOM AS BOOKING.COM DIRECTS YOU INTO THIS IF YOU WANT A LOW RATE. IT WAS PAINFUL ASKING ONCE LET ALONE 4 TIMES. ALL IN ALL VERY POOR EXPERIENCE.
