Complaint Review: Booking.com

Booking.com Booking.com charging fees AFTER stay is complete.

I received an email from Booking.com saying my reservation from my stay at The Lodge at Gulf State Park had been canceled almost a month AFTER my stay was complete and said I owed an additional 25$ due to a tax increase. I have receipts from BOTH Booking.com and the Hotel stating that I'm paid in full. After a little research to increase the price after you confirm is not an industry practice. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

Why Are You Using ANY Third Party???

 Nothing has changed. You contact the motel DIRECLY and you make the reservation DIRECTLY. You don't need ANY of this third party trash. NONE OF THEM! Do you understand that??? These third parties thrive on taking your money which was refunded by the motel AND adding on fees which were NOT in the original agreement. Never ever, ever, ever ever again use ANY third party to make reservations. YOU are very obviously intelligent enough to make them directly.
