Bookit.com ruins 4 day trip to Mardi Gras Internet
Below is an email sent ot Bookit.com after several hours on phone.
We now have 4 people in 1 room on one bed.
PLEASE, USE ON THESE RIP OFF WEB BOOKING SITES TO GET INFO AND CHECK PRICES. THEN GO DIRECTLY TO HOTEL.
I URGE YOU TO NEVER, NEVER USE BOOKIT.COM

I booked reservations for New Orleans for Marta Gras for 4 nights through you company. We booked 2 double beds. When we arrive we were given 1 king. We asked the hotel to change which they had.
I contacted you at 2am that night. No answer.
The next day we contacted you and talked to two reps. Bottom line, the hotel had the choice of a king or double.
You should have informed us what we would have had.
Bottom line we have a room for 4 nights with 4 people in 1 King Bed.
I hope that you CFO and CEO get this type of treatment.
I will be disputing all charges with AX. I am posting with Rip-off.com
I am blast emailing every employee of my company (350 employees) and asking them to Never use your firm and to pass this on the every member of their family and anyone else they can. As CFO and General Counsel I think they might trust and listen to me.
Your employee by the way stated (on tape) that the hotel breached it contact with you and therefore you breached you contact with me.
I hope you have a good weekend as you have totally ruined this trip for me.

I am sorry to hear about your experience with our company. We strive to provide customer elation to all of our guest. With most hotel you can book a room with a king or a double. In some hotels it has both room types under the same room type. For Example, Room will have 2 double beds or king bed. If you book a room with only 2 guest and do not put a note requesting double beds, hotels will normally put you in a king bed. The best way to avoid this issue is to call in and speak to an agent who will be glad to book your vacation to make sure you get what you paid for.
