Complaint Review: BookLocker Publishing

BookLocker Publishing ripoff Unethical And Dishonest Misrepresentation Bangor Maine

Several yars ago I published with BookLocker, under a pen name, and when I signed up with them, Angela and Richard Hoy told me they were a publisher. What they didn't tell me was they are really an E-Publisher and they use a company called Lightning Source www.lightningsource.com.

Anyone can use lightning source and save money rather than pay BLocker and let Blocker keep your book(isbn) and reap royalties from you promoting it and doing all of the work. The Hoys manipulate and deceive. I've read hundreds of stories where they use a site of theirs called Writers Weekly which is their spider web as they catch and snare flies. They use many tactics to decieve like Blogs and sites like www..wirelesstrips.com.

You can always count on these people to tear down and allow others to be torn down so they can advance forward. Be very careful of The Hoys. They are not what they seem.

In the Public lookup I found -

I am a professional freelance writer; my work has appeared in such publications as Bon Appetit, s****.>

I have published two novels through Booklocker, Death in Hawaii, and Mr. David Cooper's Happy Suicide.

Additionally, through WritersWeekly's advocacy, I have over the years been able to collect thousands of dollars from deadbeat publishers who thought they were going to be able to get away with not paying me though I had fulfilled my obligations under the contracts I had with them. I consider it likely that the anonymous filer of the above Ripoff complaint against Booklocker and WritersWeekly is a deadbeat publisher who has had complaints against them published in WritersWeekly. I furthermoreknow many additional authors and writers who have benefited from Booklocker and WritersWeekly.
