I get spammed by these folks all the time. They sell a CD-ROM of hundreds of mostly (if not all) public domain books in text format, along with a text-to-speech engine that supposedly enhances the one shipped with the latest version of Windows. I was intrigued and risked the $19.95 (the website says the "regular" price is $39.95 but I seriously doubt they ever sold these at that price.) The product is interesting, but is full of bugs. Many of the books only work for the first page, and the meagre instructions accompanying the product are confusing or just wrong. The problem is, you can't tell which, because there is NO tech support. No email response. No phone. Nothing. I'm not complaining they won't give me my money back because I'm not about to ship the (partially functional) disc back without at least an email from these guys. Their website is full of testimonials, "marketing opportunities", email addresses, and offers of support. I've tried all of these with no response from the company. Maybe the disc works and I'm just doing something wrong. But there is NO WAY to find out because they refuse to communicate with the outside world, as far as I can determine. If this product worked, it would be worth the thirty bucks (barely.) As it is, it's worth thirty cents. Rory Carmel, California
