NEVER EVER BUY A HORSE OFF OF BOOMS QUARTER HORSES.

I purchased a horse off of Joe and Nancy Boom that was supposed to be a very good horse for beginners and was also a nice gentle barrel horse. I paid alot of money for this horse. When they delivered him, he was very sluggish and drooling. I got on him to ride him and it took all he had to walk. It was clear this horse was drugged. 2 days later I got him out to ride him and he bucked so hard that I fractured my back and was in the hospital for two weeks. I also partial traded them one of my grade mares. I called her from the hospital asking for my money back or at least my horse back. She told me she couldnt give me my money back and that she sold my mare the day before. Later on, they offered to trade me this registered gelding back for another horse they had that was just a nice trail horse. I traded them even up and this horse was supposed to be worth as much as the one that hurt me. he was not registered and he was crazy. he bucked, reared in the air so high he flipped over and you could still see the sticker marks on his rear end stating that he was from an auction. i begged them to tell me where my mare was and they refused. i posted an add asking anyone who had her to please contact me i wanted to know how she was. i got this email saying, the horse is fine my daughter loves her, thank you "my horses new owner' this was suspicious to me. well as a conicidence i found my mare posted on a website for sale several months later. she had bought the horse from an auction. she said the guy that had her run threw the auction was a broker and booms, gave her to him to take to auction. they lied to me about where my mare was, send a phony email because this lady that had my horse had no idea who booms were and they had bought her three days after i send her too booms and got hurt. i bought my mare back from the lady and took booms to court. they are the rudest most inconsiderate people and only think of themselves and there wallets. please people beware dont deal with these guys, they are liars, cheats and awful people. The girl who wrote this report is a huge liar!!!!!!!!! I went to her house right after the booms had left.  And NO he was'nt drugged. His head was up and there was no drool!!! She was actualy riding him in thier corn field.  And my cousin and i both rode him. And was awesome. Very fast and responsive. First of all is if that horse was drugged like she said it was why did she buy him????????????  And in the ad that the booms had on the computer describing this horse that she bought they said he is a very FAST barrel horse who needs A EXPERIENCED rider due to his speed and him being so handy. She traded her grade mare, who was blind in one eye!!! So that mare then belonged to booms so they had every right to sell her.  As they did!  And if she loved her sooooooooooooo much why did she trade her in the first place?????????? She called me from the hospital and told me to go to her house and get Digger wich is the horse she got from booms. Because it was NOT HIS FAULT!! She told me she was being lazy that day threw a old thin saddle pad on him and a old saddle, wich she told me was sliding on him. Because it didnt fit him. And if her BACK was sooooo BADLY BROKEN how come the next day after she was released from the hospital she came to my house and RODE one of my horses and told my cousin and i not to tell her husband. The Booms did make it right by her. They brought her up another gelding wich she agreed to.  This gelding was a nice little horse who meghan rode all over as well as my cousin and i. I was there at court with the Booms!!! The JUDGE himself told her she had no case.   So yes she lost.  He actualy laughed at her!!!! I own several horses that i have got from the booms. And they are wanderful!!!!!!!!!!!! I send all my friends there. I am actualy the one who sent this girl there.!!!!!!  They are great people who are very honest and have great horses.

This girl did lie about the horse being drugged.I went to her farm later the day she got him and she was riding him through a corn field he was not drooling nor was his head hanging.Honestly if i bought a horse and they brought it to me acting the way she claims i would not have bought it.My cousin and i both rode him and he was fine we loped and everything. But i will say when we left we both said that he was way to much horse for her.She called crying to us from the hospital to please go get him because it was not his fault she fell off. After she gets home she tells us that she was in a hurry and had a very thin little junkie pad on him and an old rickety saddle on him.So i am not sure why she wrote all this maybe the same reason she drug them to court and got laughed right out of there by the judge. My cousin and i both had to go testifie for Booms. She was in the hospital but if  she was truelly that hurt she would not have come to the farm the day after she got out and said i am gonna ride today but dont tell my husband.and as far as her mare she traded her off so why should booms keep her and not sell her she knew they would sell her off.No matter where she went or what happened to her she didn't want her she sent her to them so that is just stupid of her to give her away.He was just to big of a horse for such a little girl.

why did you remove your complaint

After that long and detailed complaint from 3horsegirls it seems odd this complaint would be removed stating that now the Booms are good people who sell good horses. I highly doubt after the details of that email and the depth of the complaint that someone could have been lying that badly.

I would like to know why such a detailed complaint was filed and how it was resolved.
