I bought a Boost Mobile (a Nextel company) pre-paid phone for work, is an ok. I was tired of buy pre-paid cards so I switched over to the No Contract monthly pay plan via my credit card. Well I have had problems with my email/text messaging from day one, so for 3 months I get the run around abnout it (still am to this day).I get a technical support rep on the line on a Saturday (I was on hold for 40 minutes!!!)they try to help with the problem, well come to find out when they were working on my problem they took me off the "monthly" plan to be put back on the regular pre-pay plan which you pay a separate per minute rate depending on time of day ect. Well during that "window" where I was off the monthly plan, I used the walkie-talkie feature, well they charged me $15 for going below my pre-paid balance of $5.01, here where I get really pi**ed:

I was off the monthly plan for 15 minutes, then they put me back on the monthly plan after the 15 minutes, me using the walkie talkie made my balance fall below $5.01, so they charged my Visa card $15 to "re-up" for more minutes. I argued with them that NO ONE told me about taking me of the monthly plan, so after 6 different people I spoke to, I get the $1.50 credit (the daily charge for the walkie talkie service) but was refused my $15 debit to be refunded. The plainly said "if we do refund the money I can no longer use the service period and they would ask that someone else use a credit card to pay if I chose the monthly plan.

Bottom line, Nextel/Boost could care less about refunding me my $15.
