Borgwardt Funeral Homes Our local Funeral Home never offered a rental casket since my mom was being cremated.
When my mother passed away, I was devastated. The Borgwardt Funeral Home in West Allis, Wisconsin never offered me a rental casket, which is usually the case with a cremation. I had to pay the full price for a regular casket ($2,700). I was so "out of it" at the time that I did not question it. When I did question it, I was given a certificate for $2,000 to be used at anytime at their funeral homes in the future. Again, I was still not thinking clearly. I now realize that I have a worthless $2,000 piece of paper since I will never use this Funeral Home again. I asked for my money back and was not given any satisfaction. I was not only ripped off once, I was ripped off twice!
