Borst Automotive Mark Anaya, Store Mgr, Swan Rd. Tuscon, Az. Intentionally Falsified Engine Analysis and Data to Insurance Org. Tucson AZ

This org. should be shut down and have Mark Anaya, be hung by his Gonads. This unscrupulous auto center falsified engine data and analysis to make themselves look and appear great to the insurance org.  These so called mechanics would be more suited for a Cicis Pizza or Waffle House Pot Scrubbers.  In fact,  a Possum or a group of orangutans would have higher ethics and morals. Stay away and seek a reputable auto center!!

Judging by your spelling and grammar, you must have bought your master's degree from one of those mail-order degree mills.  I can't exactly imagine a degreed professional writing like you do.  In any case, I still don't understand:

1) How a supposedly defective battery can cause ALL of the computers in the car to fail?  The only way that could happen is if the battery got connected backwards.  Who installed this battery?

2) What did this shop have to do with it?  Did they install your battery wrong?  If so, you need to take the car to a different shop to have them inspect it, then go talk to a lawyer.

3) Why you think it's not possible to diagnose a fried ECU.

4) Why a damaged ECU would "destroy" an engine.  An engine is a mechanical component, and a failed ECU will generally just prevent it from starting.  Replacing the ECU and other damaged electronics would make it work again.  If you are alleging that the defective battery caused the ECU to malfunction in such a way that it destroyed your engine, that's in the realm of science fiction.

A complete engine failure caused by a New Defective Battery and electrical system//including ECU. In other words, no electrical or electronic test could be performed as all engine computers were zapped. My background is a Masters Degree in Aerospace Engineering. What's Yours!!

Judging by the lack of details in your post, as well as the personal attacks, it sure sounds like you were the one trying to defraud the insurance company and it didn't work out. Care to explain what exactly they did wrong?
