On 8/25/04 I purchased a Simmons Mattress. This bed was sold to me with a 20-year warranty. The sales person Michael Polese told me "anything that goes wrong in 20 years/ no questions asked we will replace the mattress at no charge".

After 2 years the bed is lumpy and has depressions all over it. I wake to neck and back pain every morning.

I called Boscov's to find out Mr Polese doesn't work there anymore and I only had a 10 year warranty. This was confirmed by the Bedding Department Manager Frank (Toms River, NJ store) who also stated "these are one of the many reason's Mr. Polese is no longer at Boscov's". They set me up with an inspector to come by from Furniture Doctor.

The inspector from Furniture Doctor (Luis) was a horrbly large man who's personal hygene was not high on this agenda. Between the body odor, the unbrushed hair and dirty hands and fingernails. I was disgusted. I feel the bed should be disinfected after he touched it. Not to mention when he bent over 5" of dirty filty butt crack made me want to throw up. He did tell me the lumps had nothing to do with the small stain. But the stain was enough to void the warranty.

A few days later Robin Psilelis (Boscov's operation's mgr) called and told me although there is lumps and indentations the warranty was being voided due to the small stains.

Boscov's is using a stain as an excuse to not honor the warranty. I feel this is bad business and I will continue to blog the internet till the world sees that Boscov's is an uncaring company who will use any excuse to rip off the public.
