While being employed with Bose Corporation, I had an opportunity to tour their remanufacturing facility in Hillsdale, MI. During the tour I noticed a pallet of Wave Radios that were skued with the "New" product code.

My curiosity got the best of me, being that this was a plant that got returned and defective merchandise, as to why there was new product setting on a pallet at the end of retesting lines.
I asked one of the employees, "What are new Wave Radios doing here?". I was told that if they are tested out and look brand new that they are repackaged and sold as new.

I don't know if this is a common business practice or not; but, if I buy a new product I expect it to be new, and not something that has been thru the remanufacturing process and sold again as new because it "looks new"!

Folks this is just the start. I will be building a web site educating the public to some of the sales and business practices that are used in Bose retail stores, so that people are aware as to what to expect when doing business with Bose.
