Boston Limo scam deposit money without providing service, deceptive tactics, untrustworthy, offensive Lowell Massachusetts
I called Boston Limo to reserve a inquire about reserving a Limo. After finding out information, I asked if I could put a Limo on hold for a special event. The phone attendant responded that she would need a credit card to hold the reservation. This is a similar practice to a hotel reservation, where the hotel requires a credit card for reservation. At no time was I made aware of a non-refundable deposit. I called the very next day to cancel my reservation as plans had changed. The attendant told me that they would charge my credit card 20% per their policy. I explained that I had never been made aware of the policy and asked to speak to the manager. The owner got on the phone and was extremely rude and disrespectful. He told me that he would not refund my money. I later find out that instead of 20%, which would have been $77, my credit card was actually charged $100. I called back, only to have the owner tell me that if I wanted my money back that I would have to sue.
DO NOT do business with this company. There are many other great limo and car service providers in the Boston area. This company is running a scam operation with no regard to customer service. They are rude, aggressive, and offensive in their approach to business.
