I arrived at home lastnight and discovered my top deadbolt lock was not working.I contacted my building management about the problem. They left it to me to get a locksmith as there locksmith was closed for the evening. I quickly looked up a Boston 24hr locksmith on my phone and had the front desk person call.

They told us it would be 30 minutes and that they charge $29.95 for emergency service call and that there service started at $25 and up. They also told us that they took credit cards. The locksmith arrived 1 hr and 20 minutes later. I escorted him to the bad lock. He said that picking the lock would not work in this case because the lock had failed. He went to his white van and retreived his tool bag. Then he took out his drill and drilled the locked. 3 minutes later my door was open. He then made out an invoice that totalled $470.00. Yes that's right! I then said do you take credit cards and he said not at this late hour. I told him the person on the phone said they did take credit cards. He went through the motion of calling into the office to see if they could process my credit card. The answer was not at the late hour of 7:15 pm in the evening. He said cash only. I want to own a company that makes $470 every 3 minutes like this one.

Do not ever hire this company to do anything for you because if you do you will be taken advantage of especially if your in a desperate situation. The locksmith was so phoney and his concern I almost vomited.
