My report is a near duplicate of Daniel J. Strauss's. The letter is identical to the one he received except for the amount, $2975.62. Unfortunately, since I am a young newly wed I cashed the check. They wanted me to send a money gram to a person named Emily Pearson in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada M1B 3S2.
I hope that both US and Canadian police make a very visible example of these pirates!
