Bottom Line Books Sent unordered books to me by mail with a hefty bill Des Moines Des Moines Iowa
Two days ago the postman left a package at my door. I had been expecting two mailings of merchandise and opened the package without checking who it was from.
There were three books that I did not order from Bottom Line Books with a bill for $47. enclosed.
I took the package back to the post office downtown today and had to pay $3.98 to return the books because I had opened the package.
According to the directions in the bill from Bottom Line Books, I had to return the books to a different address: PO Box 508; Clarion, Iowa 50526
This is a total ripoff and don't open packages unless you check who it is from.

Unordered mechandise is considered a gift. The sender has no legal right to request payment. You could have kept the books, thrown them away, gave them away, but you probably did the 'moral' thing and returned them. Did you ever logon to their website or fill in a card for a free trial of anything?
