There is more than one problem.  The internet advertising regarding electricity rates is purposely very misleading. Only if you were psychic would you likely find the proper disclosures which are buried on a page you would probably not think of clicking on. I made the mistake of signing up for an 18 month plan. The 9.7 cent per killowatt hour charge only applies for those who use at least 2000 KWH per month. I failed to understand this because it wasn't disclosed anywhere that I would very likely look. It was buried basically.

After a couple of weeks I became concerned that I saw nothing in the mail. I was told that a welcome package had been sent. But I never got it. Repeated phone calls to Bounce Energy failed to resolve this problem. I believe the company intentionally failed to send this information because they feared I would cancel if I knew how much I would becharged.

I knew nothing concerning how much I would be charged until I saw the bill on the internret 1 month after I signed up.  I then learned that I was being charged 11 cents per KWH not 9.7 cents. I was not happy about it. Now the company wants me to pay a $225 early cancellation fee which is absolutely outrageous. This company ought to be prosected for deceptive advertising and fraud.
