The debt they are trying to collect is for my husband yet they harrass me for the payments because he does not work. They sent a garnishment to his past employeer...the corporate one when he worked for a franchise and corporate has no authority in this type of thing. I explaine to them I only make X dollars a month and my rent is like 200 less and they did not care, asked me is I can pay 400 a month out of a 900 a month income. They sent court papers to take him to court yet on the local court hearing web site he is never listed as having to attend for court. I told them I can send 10 a month to cover both accounts and they stated it would not stop or prevent collections. Mind you the original debt on each credit card was 300 each and not the total they are trying to collect is about 4000 combined. Really something wrong with that!
