Box Nation Boxing Channel Media Ltd Fail to warn new subscribers of potential 4 hour delay before their stream becomes active, Internet
I subscribed to Box Nation to watch their live PPV transmission of a fight. I did this shortly before the fight was due to commence. At no stage did the website inform me that there can be a delay of up to 4 hours before the stream becomes active. It did not become active until after the fight had finished. The company does give a warning but only on the 'Support' page, I believe that people wishing to subscribe urgently for a fight would only click the 'Subscribe Now' button and not click on the 'Support' button first. I believe the company know that, were they to give the warning on the page where people subscribe, that many people would not go ahead out of fear their monies would be wasted. I believe that is wrong and amounts to a mis-selling of the subscription.
