I called Boxofficeticketsales.com and was overcharged almost twice the price of the actual ticket. The broker charged me $160 for an $89 ticket and then $40 more for an additional ticket that was the seat right in front of me. When I called in December I wanted to speak to a human to ensure there would be no errors and I could have any questions of mine answered. When I concluded my call the ticket agent told me the price for three tickets for mezzanine for a particular broadway show was $319. I was sent a confirmation in the mail but it didn't indicate the number of tickets so when I called to confirm I was told I was charged for two tickets, not the three I had needed and ordered. I then had to purchase another ticket for the play and the price on the ticket said $135 and it was the seat right in front of my $89 seat. I called the ticket agent and he had told me that there was nothing I could do and noone I could speak to. He actually said to me in Latin "Buyer Beware". He informed me that the price of the tickets could be slightly higher or lower than the actual box office price and said sometimes we may overcharge as much as $70 per ticket.
