Boyajian Law Offices ripoff Rutherford New Jersey
I received a letter from Boyajian Law Offices stating that I owe them $398.66 for an outstanding Verizion bill in Alabama. I called and spoke to a person, and he stated that the over due account was in 1997 however I was living in Texas at the time and that I could prove that I had been in that state since 1995.
I asked for a copy of the bill and have not received one to this day. On the other hand, I have received another letter from them stating that they are going to pursue legal actions against me unless I pay.
I am very frustrated with this matter, I do not not want a bad mark on my credit report.

According to the State of Alabama Attorney General, the statute of limitations for this bill is 2 years. Even if you did owe this money, which I doubt you do, they can not lawfully collect. Visit the Fair Debt Reporting Website and get a Free Cease and Desist Statute of Limitations letter to send them. They should back off.
