I was contacted by this company last summer about a debt they claimed I owed to AEP from over 7 years ago. I asked for validation as I routinely check my credit reports and they informed me that they letter I received was all the validation I needed.

I called AEP - they do not have me on record as owing anything. I checked my past credit reports - there was nothing that showed I owed the specified amount of money to anybody. Since then I have received phone calls and letters that have threatened to destroy my credit and/or that they will sue me.

Last week I recieved a notice for a certified letter - yes, from Boyajian, and no, I did not accept it.

I have filed complaints with my local police, the FCC, the postmaster general, and the offices of the Attorney General for both Texas and New Jersey.

What else can I do to protect myself from these "people"? Do I send a certified "cease and desist" letter? Will they sink so low as to send somebody to my home to issue me with another threatening letter? I am not scared of these people, but I am getting tired of them.

What can I do to stop the harassment?
