I have been working with Bill Hillock of BP Automotive for a few years now to get an LS harness made for my L33 swap into a gen I 4runner.  Orginally the kit looked good for 600 dollars plus my harness, decent fuses, etc.  Service was slow, turn around was about 3 months.  I then moved, got settled in a new shop, and started back on the project.  I wasn't happy with the fitment, adjusted the lengths of wires as I wanted them and said I'd pay his 50 an hour in bench labor rate to have them adjusted.  After calling and emailing weekly for 4 months, he finally answered after screening all of his calls and said sorry he's swamped it should only be an hour of work or I can give you a Camaro harness as thats about the same length because someone else used it on deposit and backed out.  Said he was fine doing it for me saying in the forums how resilient his setup was, etc. (which it is)  I said fine.  Another month passes by, I start messaging him by personal email, business email, eBay messaging, and Facebook with no response.  After a threat to post about his business practices online after a month of emailing weekly I received my harness back in the mail with ends missing, no work done.

If anyone would like his emails as proof, phone records, or all of the emails he refused to respond to (which by the way if you call his number he states he only responds via email) I would be happy to provide them.

STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS.  He promises a lot and delivers nothing.  I'm out about a years worth of time and about 700 dollars.

Dallas,

Had the harness for over a month before deal was even offered

Seller had the harness for over a month with no communication with only a few hours of bench labor needed.  This three week timeline is obsured considering the months that had past with no response.

The harness was shipped to BP in the middle of May, with contact finally made in August discussing the "deal" when I was fine with paying for bench labor, then harness mysteriously sent back with no emails or calls returned in the middle of October.  This is almost 6 months, not three weeks, and there are email chains to prove it.

You might have your choice of council define slander as you apparently aren't aware what it is, nor that your three week timeline is blown out of the water through a chain of emails.  People need to beware that service at this establishment is lackluster at best.  The product is quality, but could keep you waiting.

3 weeks from the time that He was made aware of his harness condition. We have unboxing videos, and pictures of the harness, as we do with every harness that we recieve as legal protection from customers like this. They have been given to our attourney in preparation for litigation.

This exchange of waiting for harnesses when on for months, with no calls answered or emails responded to.  I have records and all documentation to back it up.  And to say I destroyed my harness... What a sham.  I wanted my harness done.  Seller does make a good product but has no customer service to back his products up.

Taylor Fry originally ordered a rewire service in 2013. As with all rewire customers I explained all options so he could make an informed decision on what options were best for him. Furthermore, he was also informed that we do NOT re-route the harness in an way. He sent us a Vortec harness that has an undesireable routing from the factory. He was fine with all of this.

He send his harness in, we rewired it and sent it back. Just the same as we have done with thousands of customers. About a year passes, and Taylor contacted us again because he wanted us to crimp the PCM terminals onto the harness as he re-routed a WORKING harness that we had already rewired and sent back. When the harness arrived and we inspected it, as a professional it was easy to see that he had offset the PCM connectors like a Camaro or Firebird harness. However, HE had indexed the connectors BACKWARDS! This is not a mistake that we would ever make as our new harnesses have offset connectors just like the Camaro/Firebird, and as stated with thousands of harnesses built we have NEVER made the inexperienced mistake of indexing the PCM connectors BACKWARDS!

Mr. Fry ruined his harness, and since he was a customer and I felt bad for him I offered him a sponsorship. I would build him a new harness for what it would have cost to crimp on the PCM terminals if HE had not indexed them BACKWARDS. So for roughly $150 we are going to build a new harness for him and chalk the rest up to a sponsorship. A very kind offer on my part, the only catch for him would be he would have to be shuffled into the order of orders that I already had and would have to wait 3-4 weeks for us to build it and get it sent out. I let him know that he had not heard from me as far as shipping in 3 weeks to let me know, no sooner than three weeks because he knew it would be atleast 3 weeks before shipment. Simple verbal contract, that was a sweet deal for him. At this point ZERO money was exchanged. NOT EVEN A PENNY.

After a week Mr. Fry was repeatedly emailing and calling, even after agreeing that it would be three weeks. Since it was easy to see that he could not hold up his end of the verbal agreement and that he was assuming that harassing me would move him up in line to get rid of him. Since Mr. Fry broke his end of the agreement, we sent his harness back and refused service.

HE NEVER SENT US ANY MONEY, WE NEVER TOUCHED HIS HARNESS OTHER THAN INSPECTION.

HE DESTROYED HIS OWN HARNESS BY TRYING TO CHANGE THE ROUTINGS AND INDEXING THE PCM CONNECTORS BACKWARDS.

HE EVEN MADE THREATS THAT HE WOULD POST ONLINE IN AN ATTEMPT TO GET ME TO MOVE HIM AHEAD OF OTHERS!

We have thousands of satisfied customers, and have a 100% positive feedback on ebay, which is one of the most brutal ways to trade online.

This goes to show, that sometimes even if you give something away, that some people cannot be made happy.
