I have been a customer of BB&T aka Branch Banking and Trust for around 5 years. I have been denied a loan 3 times. Since then my income has increased to over 72,000 a year. I was in an accident early last year. So i have fallen on hardship. All my bills are paid except medical bills under 300. I was able to get a 2011 Toyota 4-runner without any problems. The person i spoke to was very rude when i was told no. I have now moved to Ga. They now say 300 dollars in medical bills that are a result of the accident are the cause of my denial on a loan. Apparently, these people do not listen to the customers and have become greedy self rightous hippocrites who only look after themselves. I wonder, if they were in my shoes how would they react. I hope someone investigates their business practices because they are not for the customers. They are for what they can steal from people and then deny them and treat them like trash.

Six years ago you could get a loan if you could prove you were still breathing.   Those days are long gone.   Although the banks have gotten the message that strict governance must return to lending, many in the general public have not.

If you have bad reports on your credit history, you will not qualify for a loan using today's standards (at least not from a reputable lender).    You are correct that this is discrimination.   Unless a lender discriminates between those who maintain good credit and those who do not, it'll be 2008 all over again.    Discrimination is an essential part of the credit system.

Discrimination

How were you discriminated against again?

"All my bills are paid except medical bills under 300."

That's why you were denied a loan. You have unpaid medical bills. If they are your credit report, they must be really old. If they are so small, and you are making 72,000$ a year, why not pay them off? That would fix your credit report.

Where were you ripped off again?
