After reading the mountain of warnings on this Rip-off site I canceled the transaction with Usight within the Federal Three-Day Right of Recission guidelines.

Needless to say they didn't even record that I had rescinded. They received the rescission and all of their documentation of March 17, 2003. On April 11, 2003 they still had not refunded a dime. Just so you know. The three-day right of recission law requires refund WITHIN 20 days. Not 20 business days. The legal time they had to refund ended April 7, 2003.

So, being extremely demanding did not get me the refund on April 11, 2003. In fact they charged my credit card another $159.85.

Just so you know. Not complying with the right of recission guidelines is a criminal act. They can be held liable for the refund, interest charges, your time, and fines. In some cases they could be sent to jail.

The key to getting your refund is stay on their 1-800-544-9459 number. Keep calling. If they tell you they will call you back, they won't. Tell them that you will be holding on line 3. When I chose option 3 after I dialed the 1-800 number that option goes to music. It costs them at least 9 cents per minute to hold on that line. They don't seem to be able to pick up that line. But, if they know you will be using up as much of their money as you can by calling the 1-800 number they will respond.

Don't be nice. They will accuse you of being rude. How rude is it to rip people off. They do not provide a service except for the service of charging your credit card. Remember, once you submit the three day right of recission, the transaction is canceled in whole. If they charge your account after that time it is credit card fraud. You did not authorize any charges to your account. Even if you had at the seminar. The Three-day right removes all authorizations as if you had not authorized at all.

I will be keeping my eyes open and attend any and all seminars that Usight conducts in my area. I will make a point of informing all attendees of their fraudulent practices.

I will make sure I do everything in my power to put them out of business.

Contact the Better Business Bureau and inform them that if they do not place a warning on their records for Usight that you will participate in any and all class action suits against them for failing to do so. The BBB I have found out does not provide any form of consumer protection unless they are FORCED to. Even though they are required to.

Remember, Be a Witch. It's the only way to deal with these people. You have rights. They don't. If they don't follow the law, they are criminals. Always remind them that they are criminals.

STOP! ..before you think about using the Better Business Bureau (BBB)... CLICK HERE to see how other consumers were victimized by the BBB's false or misleading information. Don't be fooled! It has been reported, when there are thousands of complaints and other investigations underway by authorities, the BBB has no choice but to finally give an UNsatisfactory rating to a BBB member business that is paying the BBB big membership fees every year. When a business is reported that is NOT a BBB member, BBB files WILL more likely show an UNsatisfactory rating, then reportedly shake down that company to become a member of the BBB. One positive thing about the BBB is, either way, if a business has an unsatisfactory rating with the BBB, you can be sure, the business is bad. But what about all those BBB member businesses that had complaints filed against them? Consumers never get to hear about them. What about the BBB advertising to the public? Is this a false and misleading perception they are giving about consumer confidence when dealing with a business? Click here to understand more of what consumers and business alike are saying about the BBB. You decide. ..Remember. The BBB membership is not earned, its paid for!
