First I get a call and she says my name asking me if I have credit debt? Yes I have and she names the credit cards that are high. Then I get a spiel about how she can help me eliminate the total amount on each,claiming there is a g overment program to help me. I can't remeber all she said but she gave me an id number and a telephone no. and would get back with me.
A few days later she called back and said the lawyers would need money but I would get it back from my bank as part of the settlement.Foolishly I beleived her and let the transfer proceed.Since then I have talked to her and she said it going ahead and they would send me the papers.
I have tried over the last week to talk to her and left messages but no return call. I am sick about this how I could be scamed like this.I have no more money to pay off my credit cards.
