I  used home advisor looking for roofing companies and described what I wanted done and was contacted by several companies, afew came to my home to give me an estimate.  Brandywine Exteriors sent a person out to give me an estimate, His name was Kevin.  I told him I wanted a complete tear-off right down to the rafters and he started to write up an estimate after doing some measurements and  gave me a price, stating that this was a slow time for them, this was in January 2014 and would give me 10% off and then stated that if I signed for the work to be done right then he wuld take another 5% off.  He asked if I had received other bids and I told him that I have, he asked who I received them from and I told him, he then stated that they use outside contractors whereas they have their own crew, I liked that aspect and signed the contract.

Well in February I rerceived a phone call from Kevin stating that their crew would be out to do the job as the shingles they use, Owens/Corning, the temperature had to be above 50 degrees.  I told him that there was 3 inches of snow on the roof, we did have a wrm spell at the time, and he said that they would brush the snow off, there was at least 5 inches of snow on the ground, the next day they all showed up and started the work and was done in  2  days, after the first day the sheathing was installed and an under layment was put down, a worker told my wife that the wood was covered and was water proof , I wanted plywood installed per talking to the estimater but after looking, they used OSB, a neighbor tyold me to check the estimate and make sure they didn't charge me for plywood, they didn't,  The estimater said he would come back after the job was all finished and we would do a walk around to see if there were any problems, well he showed up the day it was finished at night time and it was very dark outside and wanted to be paid for the work.

Then it got cold and I went outside a few days later as it snowed again and the sun was out and noticed that my gutters were damaged along with my driveway, so I called to report the problem and was asked if I wanted new gutters and I said no, that I wanted the damaged ones replaced and was told I would have to cover the cost, they were new gutters that I had to replace the old ones,  Now when people in the neighborhood walk by and I am outside they stop and ask me what is wrong with my roof.   I had an expert company come out to look and was told they, Brandywine Exteriors, didn't leave a 1/8 inch gap between each piece of sheathing because it was OSB..
