Bray Property Management Sweet when you move in. Tyrant when you move out. They will mess with your security deposit. Grand Junction Colorado
We rented a property from Bray a few years ago. At that time the renting process was easy. But now they seem to have new property managers, and things have gone down hill quickly.
While living in the property, we had issues with the A/C. We reported it to the property manager lady. The A/C contractor came out, and claimed they had to replace the unit, but the property manager refused to do so. The A/C never worked the same. This is the reason why we decided to move out.
They make the rental process easy coming in, but BEWARE, once you want to move out they will make your life hell.
For starters, the have unreal cleaning standards once you move out. I always clean my rental properties once I move out, but they wanted UNREASONABLY perfect cleaning. The property manager treated my wife like she was her personal maid. She ran her finger through the running boards, and every single cabinet. She claim that if we didn't comply with her demand, she will charge us $125 p/h for cleaning fees.
She made me replace every single light bulb. She threaten to charge us $9 per light bulb if we failed to do so. I've never encounter any landlord that made me do such things.
The worst part is that this unprofessional company takes 60 DAYS!!! to return your deposit. I have been renting for the past 10 years all through the country from different landlords. I have never found anybody with an extreme contract stipulations.
Lastly, they do not paint their properties when you move in. The manager told me that she wanted us to clean the walls, because she had somebody lined up for the rental, I was not going to waste time painting the house. I am sure the homeowner is not aware of this.
STAY AWAY FROM BRAY!!! whether you are a lessee or property owner. They will mess with you. Everybody in town knows this. They have poor reputation. I wish someone would had told me this before I signed the dotted line.
