Posing as a "Sports & Entertainment Marketing" firm, Break-Thru, Inc. is a false, dubious company that uses phishing techniques on online job boards to either steal identities or gain marketing communications information from unknowing submitters. Either way, they are a typical scam company taking advantage of the unemployed in a rough global economy. If you are a job seeker and find their adds online on either CareerBuilder or Monster, disregard them.

The story is this. After having a preliminary interview with their main "office" in Casselberry I was called back to conduct a secondary "field interview" at one of their locations (Home Depot...). I was given the contact information of the person (a female named Crystal) I was having my second interview with and the location address + directions. I called this person numerous times before the interview to confirm and got no response. I went to the site only to find no such vendor in place and the other surrounding workers had no idea who this company was. So I left immediately. At around the time of the scheduled interview I got a call back from the "mystery interviewer." Turns out it was a male Lt. from the City Fire Department. There was background noise from the other line so I figured he was waiting there for me. SCARY!!!

So if you're an unfortunate one who's been scheduled for an "interview" with this criminal-esque dubious company, RUN! Ignore their phone calls and requests because the same thing will happen to you if you follow through.

I had the misfortune to go for an interview at this business at a set time more than a year ago. When they called, briedfly went ober my resume and set me up for an interviews. The woman on the phone was very nice.  She explains the job, normal customer service job,  company in business 8 years,  hours etc.  I verified that this was  not a group interview, 3 openings - they're expanding,  assured it is salary not "commission" etc.  so as not to waste my time.

I show for the interview. It was in a storefront in a small, strip shopping center.   There was no normal sign on the door, just a piece of paper with some company name ( neither Eagle Eye or Break Thru) hand written on it.  First clue.

I enter and  there are 2 others waiting, a guy and a girl,  in a tiny waiting room with no receptionist, just a solid, inner door that is shut.  The young lady waiting said she is applying for the same job, had app. done, and said a girl  will be there in a min. with app for me to fill out.  My competition was  dressed in the new version of Business Casual. Her overweight frame was squeezed into a very low-cut tank top, raggy cutoffs with her flub hanging over, and flip flops. Two visible tattooes-1 large and 1 small and  an array of track marks completed her look.  There was a guy there too, as rough-looking as her, who seems to be her accomplice I mean friend.  She seemed agitated,  rushed out to smoke cigarette 2-3 puffs, puts it out, rushed back in, fidgeting - I guess she's Jonesing.

I contemplate how much I want this job, if I wanted to get mugged in the waiting room, or if I would prefer to be kidnapped, robbed, and  brutalized elsewhere.  Anyway, I need a job, I wait.  Few minutes pass another girl pops out from  the door, and gives me 1 page application to fill out. She disappears behind the door, oblivious to the  freaks. I am now amused, decide to stay,  fill out app. and enjoy the circus. Then the young lady is called in for her interview. Her co-hort then waits outside; I view my parked car through the window,  surely he won't steal it while I 'm watching.

I'm  assuming the inteviewer behind the door will quickly end her interview with I'll Call you". and I will be called to to whoever is interviewing me.  My interview was to be 15 min. ago. No, instead  voices from behind the door are from 3 loud men rudely quizzing the girl in tandem, with her voice answering, and then talking.  They go on and on. Doesn't sound promising.

I had e-mailed my resume, they presented me with a 1 pg.  application, they don't have my SS # or address so I am leaving.  Suddenly a shy, awkward girl looking about 17 or 18 yrs. old comes out apologizes profusely for the wait, very unexperienced,  and does a "pre-interview". She reads my app. asks questions timidly. I leave during the pre-ininterview when she's  saying "Oh, you went to such and such high school, there's nice beaches there.....  telling her some excuse that I will have to come back.  This company called me back, did a phone interview, then called again, offered a different job, some type of extremely discounted vacation pay up front credit card scam.  This is not a story, this is not exaggerated, it is actually what happened when I went for my interview.

I am the Office/HR Manager for Eagle Eye Advertising Inc.  and I just wanted to set the record straight on the ripoff report that was filed for Breathru with our business name in the title.  I have worked for Eagle Eye for over 2 years and when we moved into the building we are in now I guess it was where Breathru used to operate and this person had a bad experience with them.  Breakthru is not our company and we are in NO way related so I don't understand why our Companys name was mentioned.  So in the future maybe we do a little better research before you say negative things about the wrong company please.

Once you replace negative thoughts with positive ones, youll start having positive results
