Ok, I want to start off by saying the products they sell are highly useful, save you a ton of money and def increase the represented business traffic (Not sure on the vacation packages, never used). This particular office was extremely nice, everyone dressed very professional which got my interest and why I came back to the second interview. They were very honest to me about what I would be doing daily and it was B2B sales. #1 I am very comfortable with that most people are not which is why they suck at it and then write bad comments about companies, Lets face it sales is not for everyone especially b2b, who likes to hear 150 no's a day just to get 10 yeses?? Those who can handle it and have thick skin are those who usually succeed not only in this business but in many aspects of the sales industry.

The reason I am writing this report is because I do not agree with how they treat the new hires. I went out on my second interview. (I drove my own car to West Palm beach from Hollywood. I was a little taken back by this but they gave me $20 bucks for gas and paid for parking so I was like what the hell. On the way I wanted to grab something from McDonald's because I knew we were going to be out all day and had no idea when we would eat. I was advised that was not a good idea thats not going to make me money and we needed to get started asap. I am all for productivity but d**n dude if we are going to be out in the hot humid weather all day walking around let me roll through the drive through and eat on the way, wtf. We get to West Palm and immediately hit the pavement. Before I knew it, it was 3:00 pm I asked were we going to eat? He said there isn't anything near by and kept pitching businesses, I explained I was starving and fatigued I hadn't ate breakfast we hadn't stopped for water or anything to drink other than the little water coolers inside the businesses, which I was lectured about not doing that either. Anyway, he explained that he doesn't take lunches it doesn't make money and If I wanted to advance I should do the same. I was like wtf dude this is my second interview, I guess I should have gotten the clue then that they run a slave mill.

Long story short NO LUNCH. I had a bag of chips and a beef stick at the gas station on the way home when we stopped to put in gas. When we got back to the office and I met with one of the owners Rich Patterson I explained that this was not cool, I am a grown a*s man and I shouldn't be told when I can eat on my second interview. He twisted it around and made me sound like a whinny little girl. However, I still believed in the business and knew once I picked it up I would excel and be on my own. The next day I went out with another guy who was really cool but had crazy mood swings one second this was the best company in the world the next minute he couldn't wait to leave. He asked if I was working Sat, I was like uhhhh we work Saturday also keep in mind we started at 7 am and worked until 6pm back at the office at 6:30 and left at 7:30 pm. I got to work at 7am and all we did was stand around and pitched to each other until 10:00 and in the field by 10:30 or 11 depending on where we were assigned. So the idea of working Sat was less than appealing. He continued to explain you have to work Sat or you will not advance its not req but you will be looked at as a slacker. The pay was ehhhhh not so good but once you become an owner there is a ton of money that is true, its just getting to that point. Pay example ( Sell a $ 30.00 certificate you make $12.00 bucks) Some guys sell 3 a day some 15) But you ask those guys how long they have been there and its all the same 3 weeks to 4 months, no one there has been there for long at all. RED FLAG. Ok, my first day solo, Back to West Palm arrived around 11:30 am Hit the field about 11:45 I was selling a BB king certificate which I had just learned that morning, I had been told it was a Tire kingdom which I had knew from the previous day but was told at the last min plans changed your pitching BB Kings. My trainer that morning never let me get through a pitch as he would constantly interrupt me ( More eye contact, smile, not 2 for one but buy one get one, sound more excited, don't point, focus on making it risk free, Make sure to smile more again.)

Just when I felt good about it he would fing something negative to say. It got to the point where I started second guessing myself and would get super frustrated at this guy, just let me get through a pitch bro. And everyone is always interjecting there different opinions its completely disorganized. Anyway, out in the field alone finally feeling confident despite all the negativity in the morning. Hit the businesses at 1145 Had 3 sold by 2:30, I was so excited text my team lead he never text back once at the car never said great job nada, text my Owner never said anything. I ended the day at 4:45 with 4 sold a total of $120 in total sales. Not great but not bad for my first day and I just learned the pitch that morning, I thought anyway.

Once I got to the office Rich came up to me and immediately asked me how I did in front of 4 plus other reps put me right out on the spot. I was like 4 and he was def less than thrilled, he couldn't have made it more than obvious asking me if I had done this and done that. I was like bro don't get me down I thought i did good for my first day. He smiled and walked off. I was paid out $31 bucks and was like this is it. I just drove an hour worked my butt off in the heat to get treated once again like crap. You want to know why the turnover is so high?? You don't treat people like slaves. All you are there for is to make the owners money, they could give to shts about the sacrifices you make to be there, putting the mileage on your car which turns into a company vehicle because when your one of the few that has a car they capitalize on that and make you drive everyone. My bonus that day if i sold 13 or more certs was $20 bucks and a pair of socks... And you want me to work Saturdays???? Yeah right. If they knew again the sacrifices people make to work these long hours and working Saturdays maybe they would treat you better. All in all I would have stayed had I been treated better, I believe in the business and the products hell Ill even go door to door but show some heart and appreciation to your employees who get there asses kicked all day by these rude people out there and we are making you tons of money so you can continue to drive your Masseratis, Escalades, and Navigators.
