Brendon Bosmans Quickstar Productions.com, now Distrophonix Scam on Call for Healing Christian music compilation-no contact, no product delivered, BUT they have the DOC COMS, like Amazon.com selling the download version of our submissions. Where is the money g Baltimore, Maryland
Brendon Bosmans and Quickstar Productions contacted me through my Myspace page and solicited using several of my songs for a Christian Music compilation, "A Call for Healing" for internet .com sales, on Amazon.com and such, as well as distribution to Christian Record companies, and advertising, and finally 50 hard copies of the CD compilation for personal sales.
We, meaning each artist on the album, paid $200 for the project, and all through the organization, payment and submission contact was maintained by email only.
As the due date for the project passed, communication ceased from Quickstar, and something about we are now Distrophonex, no one answered phones, then no phones, no emails answered. I banded together with all the list of other artists who were supposed to be on the album, and all the stories matched exactly-no communication, no product, etc.
My chief complaint is that Amazon.com, Napster, and all the others including Quickstar, have the "Call for Healing" songs for sale on their sites, and we the artists have no contact despite it looks like many many artists duped into this, and they are collecting money from my song and the others.
I did consult with a lawyer who said this if outright fraud, but Brendon can't be found, confronted Amazon, who gave me it your distributor and you answer-even though the distributor is on their network, selling my song, and they give me a list of their client upon which neither Quickstar or Distrophonex are listed. Their answer is to put on their site to sell myself.
I have contacted the New Mexico Attorney General's Office of New Mexico and filed a complaint, and other artists went through the online services of the state of Marlaynd online AG office online complaint site.
This is fraud, and sales need to be accounted for and ceased and stopped, with Quickstar and Bosmans giving the artists their earned money and accounting.
