This "DAD" has not been in contact with his daughter in over 3 years and recently stopped paying chid support and providing medical insurance. He is living in Lake Havasu City Arizona allegedly doing construction for friends and family getting paid under the table. This person is incapable of telling the truth and anyone having contact with him is in jeporady of being Ripped-Off.

So it's been a while since the first posting (3 years) and the sadest part of this is that there is still no relationship. I was really in a unhealthy angry hurt place during my first posting and I hate to even read it. Brett for some reason is unable to do what he should, and I don't approve or understand. What I do know is that I have a daughter who I love and adore more than anything. He is a part of that. She has some of his traits good and bad, and I have found my self enjoying all of it.
There is no amount of money that could undo the struggle or the disappointment that went with this whole ordeal. I look back now and know that it wasn't the lack of support that made me angry, but the lack of 'give a care' that made me want to fight for her.
If I ran into him now I would imagine I would not recognize him as the guy who I saw cry on the day she was born. We have had some rough times, but without her I am sure he has had it rougher.

Why is it not a crime of Child neglect to stop paying child support. Brett is neglecting his child!! I will keep on fighting for her rights. I have written my local politicans and congress people. Please write yours. These men and women refusing to pay their child support should be hauled of to jail immediatly after lapse of 60 days for CHILD NEGLECT. My Story follows: Please help me find Lake Havasu City resident and dead beat dad Brett J B Albin he recently moved from California back to Havasu. Exactly three years ago this week was the last time we received any communication from Brett. It was a phone call to let our daughter know he had Christmas gifts from his side of the family, and would like to take her to a local park so he could give them to her. He said he would call the next morning to set up a time. My daughter woke up very early the next morning, and I could tell she was anxiously awaiting his call. The call never came that day or the next or the next. I could see how broken hearted she was and as her mom my heart broke too. We thought surely that he would call in March for her birthday. He didn't. So she cowgirled up and it just was known he had no intention of calling or attempting to make things better. Around this same time he stopped paying non-court ordered child support. Up until this point we had a verbal child support agreement and for the most part he kept up his end of the deal. Well I had no way to contact him, so I took him to court and received a court order for child support that was significantly more than our agreement (due to California laws). From 2003 until 7/2005 he had the support withdrawn from his check and there never was a problem. Then when he quit doing construction to move Back to Havasu all payment stopped and my daughters medical insurance stopped. He never tried to contact myself, or the child support office to let them know he would be moving. If he would have they would allow so many months of reduced support until he got back on his feet. Instead he has let the support lapse and now owes $2,672.50. His CA driver's license has been revoked, and if this is not straightened out after six months of no support there will be a warrant issued for his arrest. Sadly his mom Carol Albin and Dad Alan Albin also of Lake Havasu have possibly supported his selfishness maybe helping him be irresponsible by paying him under the table for working on their properties. Meanwhile my daughter's ballet lessons are on hold and getting a math tutor for school is next to impossible. Needless to say what this has done to her self-esteem. The child support agency needs his confirmed address it is thought to be 3560 Tecumseh Dr LHCY with his parents. Also if anyone knows if he has any other income other than what he is getting from his parents please contact Santa Barbara County Child Support services at 1 800 818 1386 it is an automated system.
