Complaint Review: Brewer Caldwell

the short story of the big migraine
rented house in East Vally of Phoenix AZ
house had been vacant for long time
was dirty, stained carpet, dirty grit everywhere
yard had not been touched for a year
dead bushes, plants, and trees
no mailbox key

walk through noted all above in writing

I had it cleaned throughly, had to remove cat urine smell
called maintenance for the usual, toilet issues, broken items,
items missing from house but promised.
Never was handled on first call
Switched to in writing requests, no improvement

paid rent on time, gave proper notice to move out.
Cleaned spotless, have photos and documents
had professionally cleaned, again

After 27 contacts regarding the return of my rent deposit, still no refund,
BC gave me a move out inspection that was blatantly a lie----
remember I have photos

cannot reach anyone at BC to resolve
notice their website won't supply any email addresses

sent BC a reminder about returning my deposit within 2 weeks ( again in writing)
months have gone by ...no refund

so I can only suppose they are playing a numbers game and most people won't take them to small claims court? or have all documents and photos for support of case?

I am sure I am not alone in this, because just to look up their phone number in Google one finds just how many people are not pleased with BC, past renters, owners, etc

the turnover at BC must be great, never can talk to anyone twice, they all have left....

beware but be prepared, document and photos!
