Complaint Review: Brewer Investments

I received a 'money gram' in the mail from a company claiming that I had won a rather large sum of money, and I needed to use the check to pay the taxes on that money. I looked for it on snopes and found nothing then I googled the company name and found that several other people had received the same check. The company name is Brewer Investments out of Canada, yet the check is under Brewer Welding and Fabrications out of North Carolina.

DO NOT cash this check...it is from RBC Centura and although it looks real....when you cash this check it gives these a@# holes a direct passage in to your bank account, and if they can get in there they can use it to steal everything and your identity. Shame on the jerks for taking what little hope i had that things were looking up for me in a time when I have to decide which bill is more important this month, and making sure my 7 week old daughter eats when my husband and I don't! I hope they get whats coming to them and are forced to live like the rest of us...paycheck to paycheck!!!
