We hired Brian Adams Photo Graphics to do our wedding pictures. After our initial meeting he seemed to know what we has talking about, said all the right things, and was on already on file at the hotel we were having our reception at. We chose a package that cost about $5000 which was to include three photo albums, a $700 credit for buying photos off his website, all proofs on print, and a cd slide show.

To make a long story short we paid him in full by the wedding date, he came and took pictures and the rest has been an up hill battle. Normally this whole thing should have taken about three months by his own estimate, it is now seven months later and our family is still waiting for their photo albums, and we have been unable to buy any pictures using our $700 credit.

Brian Adams is holding our albums and credit hostage. He has refused to return any of our calls or e-mails. When we went to visit his address 1961 Aloma Ave #154, Winter Park 32792 it turned out to be a FED EX PO Box. It's almost like has a system for ripping off people and circumventing any responsibility for his actions.

It really disturbs me to know there is a person out there who makes a living defrauding couples to be. A marriage is supposed to be one of the most positive and happy times in a lifetime. Dealing with a person like this has really been unpleasant to say the least. If you are looking for a Photographer in Central Florida and come across his name keep looking. This guy is a thief.

Don,

We have been in touch with Brian as he was our top choice for our May wedding. Now I am starting to wonder. Will let you know what his comments are. Additional research has lead us to another website which he apparently is also featured on.

Brian Adams = Bad Photographer Update

First off thank you John for the address unfortunately it's just another office space he rents in the area and is only available by appointment, which is how he avoids the people he has screwed over. Three months later and there has been no change, he does not look like he is going to make this right and my wife and I still do not have our albums or pictures. What's worse is that he continues to take new customers charging them up to $10,000 dollars!! I wonder how many others have been ripped off by this guy? His professional membership organization the professional photographers of America can't even get him to respond. This guy is a piece of work, but I refuse to give up.

Many thanks to ripoffreport.com for providing a forum to discuss.

Pete,

While I do appreciate your commentary, unfortunately simply finding another photographer who does not want to be paid in full on the day of the wedding is pretty much impossible. Every photographer in that area used the same rates, contract, and packages but none of them would budge on being paid in full before final product delivery. Sometimes hindsight is 20/20 and with the stress of planning a wedding Brian seemed to say all the right things, which is why he was given our business. Sometime when trusting others you get burned and we as the victims have little to no recourse other than spreading the word of our misfortune so that you do not make the same mistake.

Cheers,

Pete

Mistake No. 1: You paid him in FULL! Why? You now have no leverage on getting satisfaction, short of small claims court. Had he demanded full payment up front, I'd have gone to another photographer.
