Complaint Review: Brian Dawson Contractor

Brian and Craig Dawson were hired to remodel my bathroom and all the managed to do is steal my money and left everything looking terrible. For starters Brian Dawson cut a big hole in my wall in the bathroom to access my tub and never fixed it before leaving the job. Also he didn't do my bathroom walls properly. Instead of properly filling in and sanding the greenboard he just painted over the walls and when my wife and I made him aware that it looks awful, he sanded over the paint, never repainted it and now it looks even worse.
  He also installed Crown Molding on the ceiling that was cracked and pieced together and he thought we wouldn't notice. He also doesn't know how to do something as simple as caulk and he can't measure things either. He told us if we pay for the door he would install it. Well the door sat downstairs for over a week and he didn't do it cause he bought a 28 inch door and the old door was 28.5 inches.
  He told my wife he needed longer screws thats why he didn't install it yet which we knew was a very big lie, he messed up. He was supposed to be done in a week, he took a week longer. The last week he was there, he would work 2 hours and then leave for the day. Then on Friday he didn't even have the nerve to talk to us, he texted my wife that he was past his time and he needed more money so my wife told him good bye and don't come back.
  We figured we could trust him cause he was a friend of the family so we didn't draw out a contract which was my mistake. I never figured he would burn close friends. After talking to a cpl of people who used him in the past they said he ripped them off also. I tried to talk to his partner Craig Dawson and he just ignored my calls and sided with his partner. Heads up. never use Brian or Craig Dawson for any of your construction work or you will be very disappointed and also out of money.
