I was the maid of honor in a wedding. And this was the worst experience ever. First, the dress sizes they wanted us to order were much too big, and we had to sign off on ordering a smaller size. When the dresses came in, they were the wrong color. By then it was too late to order the correct color. So the bride settled on having this color (original was navy blue, what came in was purple). The flower girl dress was ordered so that the sash would match, it did not, had to be reordered. The bridesmaids went in to get fitted and were told the dress would be ready in 3 weeks. When we all went in, the slit in the cleavage area was not sewn in half way as requested, and they attempted to charge each of us another $15 in addition to the $35 already charged for alterations. When the slit was finally sewn in, it formed "wings" under our arms. We had to keep going back, 5 to 6 times each. I went in 2 days before the wedding to pick up my dress, and thankfully decided to try it on, the wings were even worse. I was told my the owner that the seamstress can fix it on the spot. It took 30min for her to even come out and see me in the dress. When she pinned what needed to be fixed, she told me I can pick it up later that night. I let her know that the owner said it would be done on the spot, she said that she can't do it because she's doing a wedding dress. I wonder if this wedding dress was being sewn for a wedding 2 days away, like when I needed my dress for. I told her that I couldn't come in that night as I had to work. She told me to come on the next morning (the day before the wedding). I let her know that I wasn't comfortable doing that, since I was afraid that somehting else would be wrong. I asked if I could wait a couple of hours for my dress...she said no. So I had to leave work during my break to go get it.

The bride's dress had beading all around the bust and under her arms, she asked that some of that beading be taken out so that she wouldn't have red underarms from itching all day and night. When I went in for her last fitting, that wasn't done, the bustle was uneven. I asked them to get it corrected. The underneath layer of the dress was longer than the outer later. Had to have that corrected. The seamstress asked her to come back when she was in a better mood because "she wasn't in a good mood". The bride let her know that she was fine, just frustrated. When she went in the next time and asked to try it on to make sure everything was right...she was told it would be for a fee.

This place is ridiculous. They're nice to you in the beginning, but as soon as they get the sale, they turn rude. They're always right and the customer is never right. I will NEVER go there again!!!!

We at the Bridal Corner are saddened and disappointed to read stories like those above. We know how important customer satisfaction is and we go to great lengths to ensure our customers are treated second to none. We too are consumers and often patronize business' both large and small. As customers ourselves, we expect a good value for our dollar, a quality product and good customer service. We would provide nothing less for our customers than we expect for ourselves.

One only has to enter our store and read the many letters and cards we have received from satisfied customers over the years. We happily go the extra mile to do everything possible to help make a bride's day perfect. Everything from driving 4 hours to remove lipstick from a bride's gown because she wanted to model it for a family member, to opening on our day off to help a bride from out of town. More than once we have driven to a reception hall to re-sew a bride's train that had been stepped on and torn by a wedding guest, or to simply bustle a gown because a maid of honor was unable.

When issues are brought to our attention we do everything in our power to correct any errors, even when they are not our own. We know that a bride's wedding is one of the most important days in her life, and we work hard to help make it perfect.

To all our customers, both past and present, we thank you for your patronage.

Sincerely,

Bridal Corner Management.
