Searching for high end equipment parts on line, I was hooked on to the "Briggs Stratton Store" site when they matched my search part number, and offered the part at about $50. dollars less than the lowest price. (Red Flag)!!!

Wanted to verify price, availibility and shipping arrangements prior to placing an order,  but there was (No Phone Number), just an email system set up to ask questions.  (Red Flag)!!!

So, I addressed my concerns to "Briggs Stratton Store",  and received a message from "Daniela", who did admit that "the part was not available, but they would be willing to place the order,  and it would take several weeks to deliver".  (Red Flag)!!!

I wrote back to "Briggs Stratton Store", and asked them, why they do not have a phone number?  Never got a reply.  (Red Flag)!!!

Collecting information as I continued the search,  came across another Internet website called "Small Engines Pro Dealer", who had a similar familiarity to the previous site.  You know, cheapest price, etc.  (Red Flag)!!!

Then finally, the last "cheap price" site was called "Pronto Mowers".  (Red Flag)!!!

The common denominator was "sharing the same street address".  Mr Erik R (Operations Manager), and his email receptionist, (Daniela), probably has more of these web site addresses.

I am totally amazed that with all the complaints they have reveived on line, some one has not put a stop to this nonsense.  Especially the "Briggs & Stratton" Company, whose company name was never spelled correctly on the one website.   Move with caution,  read all of the other reports.
