I was contracted by Brighter Tomorrow Marketing in early August of 2015. Hired by Michael Stephenson, to set appointments from home for outside sales representatives in the states of MD, MA, and NJ.  The companies I called for were Vivint Solar, Solar City, and others. I was hired at a rate of 10.00 per hour for a two week trial period, I was told that I would make a 15.00 hourly after the initiial two weeks if I made ten or more appointments per week for outsides sales representatives.

I was paid a week late after my "trial" but I was paid.  Then, with Labor Day approaching, I called a few times to ask about scheduling.  I received no response from Michael. I e.mailed him and still no response.  After one more call to him and not hearing back I looked up Brighter Tomorrow Marketing online and found the other reports listed here.  Sure enough, it has been close to a week, I've had no calls or e.mails returned and as you would guess, no pay.

I worked very hard for this company for two weeks during evening and weekend hours.  I made far more than the 10 appointments needed to make the 15.00 per hour salary plus comissions promised.

I have all of my paper work and have contacted state authorities. After two days they have failed to return my calls. I know there is recourse. I will be pursuing this further.

Spike Stephenson is an opportunistic individual who is using his connections to some solar companies he consults with, to benefit himself though an exploit that he uncovered trying to meet their sales and marketing needs. He now blatantly targets students, retirees, single moms, home attendants,  the chronically ill. the disabled and other disadvantaged people that, for some reason or another, can not work at a conventional office, for spare income. He operates out in the open, with confidence that the obstacles these people face will keep him out of the prying eyes of state regulators and the labor board,   He bets that no one will come to their legal assistance because typically these people have financial issues and obligations.  I pray for the swift restraint of this jackal and may the USA be made safer for good decent people who simply seek to have self esteem and to feel productive.
