Fake Lottery Scam hits LasVegas.

I just recieved a very professional looking document from Bristol Rovers Lottery stating that I had won the Worldwide Lotto (also called the World Wide International Lottery) held in Bristol U.K. I was told I has won $102,000.00,that I was one of 21 international winners in the sixth category.

I was also sent a real check for $3800.00 from Suntrust Bank, Richmond, VA and drawn from the acct of The Charlottesville Daily Progress. This check was to be deposited in my acct. and then $3600.00 of that was to be remitted to a North American Agency to cover taxes and fees.

The Check looks real in every detail. There is a Suntrust Bank in Richmond and there is a Charlottesville Daily Progress newspaper (though I'm sure nether know their names are being used).

I was told to contact Peggy Boston of State-Wide Financial Group in Texas. There is a Statewide (no dash) Financial Group in Texas but the address is different and the contact # is Canadian.

This is a VERY proffesional Scam. Don't even waste the cost of the phone call to Canada.
