British Smokers Club This company took 145.00 of my hard earned money didnt send me any goods Internet
This website is advertising tobacco products for sale as legal for your own use , not for resale, which I have since found out is illegal under British law.
Basically I placed an order for myself and partner, mailed off a cheque for 145.00 , and spent the next two months being fobbed off with every excuse under the universe for why our goods did not arrive.
I tried to cancel my order on several occasions, which was completely ignored, just a new delivery date given, which came and went with no sign of ordered goods.
This is just so wrong to be able to still operate what looks like a very professionally produced website, duping people into sending money for goods which they have no intention of sending and then having the gall to suggest that I was dealing in something that was not above board, which is when I investigated further and found out that contrary to what the website suggests is perfectly legal and above board, is anything but.
It seems that the law changed some time ago (approx. 2 years) and they still are allowed to operate this website!!!!
My fingers have been severly burned, and I kick myself everyday for being so naive not to have fully investigated this further before parting with, for me a substantial amount, of hard earned cash which we cannot afford to lose but seems like we have.
If this goes someway in stopping other people being easily parted with hard earned cash I feel like there may be some hope for humanity!!!
