I have a history with (Goggles 4 U), a valid and good company. But when they were out of stock, I saw the same item at "britishgoggles4u.co.uk", I thought this could be a way that I could obtain what I wanted, even if there were a premium.
Caution: These 2 websites are NOT the same firm.
There were issues using the UK site, so I innitated a CHAT. However, upon using the CHAT form for help, I discovered thet my questions were not being addressed. As well, I was being asked completely inappropriate questions. They were asking for personal information, as well as passwords to my paypal. When I declined to reply, I was notified by PayPal that my password was being requested (to change) via my mobile phone number.
When I enquired of britishgoggles4u.co.uk "why", they responded that they "needed my account information for payment". I explained to them that this was completely inappropriate, yet they INSISTED that I give them access to my banking and PayPal accounts.
This site is a total scam.
This site copies the "valid" GOGGLES4U, but is not affiliated with them. No physical addesss and many suspicious signs. My error was not researching to see that the UK version was mimicking the US site and is a complete scam operation.
