At the above referenced site - there was a deal (it is always there - only the rebate amount varies - up and down) that as a new customer you subscribe to comcast - you will get $100 cashback rebate for the internet service and the free modem after rebates. I signed up and the modem came on 8/17/06 and the service was setup the same day. I had to wait for the first month internet bill.

When the first bill came I noticed the comcast charged for the modem. I still have the dispute with comcast in this regard. Meanwhile I submitted the rebate with all original documentation as requested. Modem rebates I recd an email promptly that they are valid. But for the rebate for internet service broadbandoffers.com sent me an email that in the rebate form I have marked the purchase date as 09/17/06 and therefore the rebate is rejected. (The purchase date should have been between 08/01/06 and 08/31/06).

I replied and submitted a ticket in their support system stating that the shipping invoice and internet bill clearly stated that the purchase date was 08/17/06. Broadbandoffers.com refused to accept that and maintain that because incorrect date is specified in the rebate form - rebate is ineligible. Can I dispute this in small claims court? do i stand a chance?
